The last pup to be born was Smudge, otherwise known as ‘One Shoe’.  When the pups were born it didn’t take long to find them new homes. We asked the families to name the puppy so that we could start calling them by name and the pups would get used to it.  Unfortunately Smudge was the last one to find her family (and get a name) so earned the nickname ‘One Shoe’ because of her wee white toes on her back paw.

Smudge was the second smallest but definitely the feistiest.

With this wee face, we knew it wouldn’t take long for her to find her new family.

Smudge was hyper, all the time! Her tail never stopped wagging and she ruled the roost.

She was difficult to photograph as she never stood/sat still for very long… look at the tail again!

She was very very cute though!
